Employee Recognition Awards for Inland Empire Businesses
· Inland Engravings
Somebody on your team hit a milestone, and now you need an employee recognition award to hand them in front of the room. Here is how to get that done for an Inland Empire office, shop, or school district without a scramble the week before.
The moments that call for an award
Most of the award orders we see are one of these:
- Years of service. Five, ten, twenty years. Usually a plaque with the name, the years, and one line of thanks.
- Retirement. The one piece that will sit on a shelf at home for a long time. Worth a nicer finish and a little more thought in the wording.
- Employee of the quarter or month. A repeat order. Pick one style and stay with it so the awards match on the wall.
- Safety milestones. Days without an incident, a crew that finished a job clean. Coins and medals work well here because everyone on the crew gets one.
- Top sales. A crystal award that looks good on a desk where customers can see it.
- Volunteer and board thanks. Booster clubs, PTAs, church boards, nonprofit committees. A small plaque or a coin says thank you without a big ceremony.
Plaque, crystal, coin, or medal
Plaques
The standard for years of service and retirement. A walnut-finish plaque reads as traditional and hangs well in a hallway of past honorees. If you want something that catches light on a desk instead of a wall, the mirror award plaque stands on its own wood base.
Crystal awards
For top sales, leadership, and anything you want to look sharp in a photo. The crystal award plaque with a wood base is a good fit for a single standout honoree. For a modern look that isn't crystal, the full-color tower award carries your art in full color on every side.
Challenge coins
When the whole crew earned it. Coins come by the pack, so they fit a safety milestone, a project wrap, or a department anniversary where you want everyone to walk away with something in their pocket. The custom challenge coin is struck brass, double-sided, 1.75 inches across, and comes 200 to a pack, which covers a crew with spares left for the next hires.
Medals
Struck medals are the right call for field days, academic competitions, and district events where the award gets worn, not shelved. See the custom struck medal; it sits in the Awards & Recognition collection with everything above.
What to send us
You do not need a design. You need a list. First order with us? What to send for a free proof covers the whole process. Send it through the quote page or to info@inlandengravings.com with:
- The item and quantity
- Each recipient's full name and title, exactly as it should appear
- The date or year to engrave
- The wording for each piece, or one template with the blanks filled in
- Your logo as a JPG or PDF
- The ceremony date, and whether you will pick up or need it shipped
For a batch, a spreadsheet emailed to info@inlandengravings.com is easiest; the quote form's upload only takes JPG or PDF, so there, paste the names into the wording box.
Timing
Here is how the clock runs once you send that list:
- You get a free digital proof within 48 hours. No obligation.
- Nothing is made until you approve the proof.
- Most pieces are ready 3–5 business days after approval; pack items and larger runs take longer, and we confirm the date in your quote.
Let us know two to three weeks before the ceremony. Some custom pieces take longer than the usual run, depending on the project, so the earlier we hear from you, the more options you have. Add a day or two for your own review, plus shipping if you need it.
What to engrave on an award plaque
This is where most awards go sideways, and it is the easiest part to control.
- Keep it to three lines. Name, what it is for, date. Long paragraphs shrink the type until nobody can read it from arm's length.
- Spell every name twice. Once when you send the list, once on the proof. Check with the recipient's manager, not just the HR file, because that is where the middle initial and the "Jr." turn up.
- Match the set. If you are ordering for five people, use the same structure on all five so they line up on the wall.
- Say the thing. "Twenty years of showing up early" lands harder than "In recognition of outstanding dedication."
Pickup or shipping
Free local pickup in the Inland Empire, or we ship nationwide if your honoree is at another office. Tell us which on the quote.
If you are also sorting out a sign for the lobby or gifts for clients, we covered those separately: custom signs for Inland Empire businesses and corporate gifts for Inland Empire clients.
