Closing Gifts Inland Empire Agents Give That Get Kept
· Inland Engravings
A closing gift has one job: still be in the house a year later. The ones that stay have the owners' names on them. Here is what we see get kept, what to engrave, and how to time it so the gift is ready on closing day. Everything below is engraved in our Inland Empire shop and everything is quoted, so there are no prices on this page.
What gets kept
Kitchen pieces win. A board sits on the counter and gets used. Drinkware comes out of the cabinet every day. Gift cards and wine get used once and forgotten. Pick something the family will touch every week and put their name on it. Browse the full set under closing gifts and kitchen and home.
Boards
- Marble and acacia cutting board. Natural marble with acacia hardwood, laser engraved with your design. Every board is one of a kind because the acacia grain, knots and color vary. It arrives in a white marble-print gift box, so there is nothing to wrap.
- Marble charcuterie board, 11 piece set. The board is 16.25 by 12 inches and comes with three dipping spoons, three ceramic bowls and four charcuterie utensils in a white gift box with foam. A good pick for a family that hosts.
- Marble serving board set, 5 piece set. Acacia wood with marble accents, a carry handle and four serving tools. Smaller than the charcuterie set, also gift boxed.
- Bamboo cutting board. Solid bamboo, 13.75 by 9.75 inches, bubble wrapped and gift boxed. Bamboo engraves with crisp, clean detail, so small text like a closing date reads well.
Knife set, memory box, decanter
- Kitchen knife set with magnetic block stand, 6 piece. Five knives on a light rubberwood block that engraves with crisp detail. The block is magnetic on both sides and folds flat. We can engrave the stand, the handles or both. White gift box with a fitted foam insert.
- Engraved wood memory box, large. Pine with a black felt lining, hinged lid and front clasp. Choose Natural, Dark Walnut, Grey or Ebony, and engraving on the top only or all sides. With the family name and closing date on the lid, it becomes the box the spare keys and the first photo go in.
- Engraved whiskey decanter, 750mL square glass. Laser engraved with a name, date or monogram. Individually boxed with a glass topper. Pairs with the memory box as a set.
Drinkware
Tumblers are the everyday keeper. Ours come in ten colors, engrave through the powder coat to the stainless steel, and arrive in a matching window gift box. The 40oz tumbler is the big one. The 20oz skinny tumbler has straight sides for a full wrap. The 12oz wine tumbler suits a couple who will be out on the new patio. Two matching tumblers with two first names get used daily. See the rest under drinkware.
The basket
If you want one box that covers it, the engraved housewarming gift basket bundles a bamboo cutting board with the family name, an engraved whiskey glass, a personalized candle, wooden serving utensils and a soft throw in a black keepsake box with a bow. Board, glass and candle are engraved to match. Swap or add pieces. Agent programs get a set price per basket and branded packaging. It lives under gifts and promotional.
One for you: the Sold key prop
The Realtor "Sold" key prop is for the closing-day photo, not the client. An oversized acrylic key, about 12 inches long, cut and engraved with "Sold", your name and brokerage, or the new owners' names and the date. Black, white, gold, clear or a color you pick. Two-sided engraving, color fills, a full logo or a QR code to your listing page are all options. Teams can get a set.
What to engrave
- Owners' names. "The Garcia Family" or both first names. Ask the client how they write it. Blended families and hyphenated names matter.
- Closing date. Month, day, year. It marks the day without dating the gift.
- Address line. Street name only, or the full line. Ask first. A few owners would rather not have the address on a board that goes to parties.
- Your name and brokerage. Keep it small, on the back or the edge. A coin-sized logo on the underside of a board keeps you in the kitchen for years without turning a gift into an ad.
Send artwork as a JPG or PDF. If all you have is the brokerage logo from a business card, send that and we will tell you what engraves well. See design services and artwork files for engraving.
How long to allow
