The Artwork Files We Need (and How to Fix the Ones You Have)
· Inland Engravings
The single biggest delay on custom orders is artwork. A logo that looks fine on a website is often far too low-resolution to engrave cleanly.
The ideal file
Vector art — .SVG, .AI, .EPS or a vector PDF. Vector scales from a keychain to a banner with no quality loss and gives the laser a clean path to follow.
What we can work with
High-resolution PNG or JPG (300 DPI at final size) usually works for UV printing and DTF apparel. Screenshots and social-media downloads usually do not.
AI-generated images
AI art often has garbled text, soft edges and artifacts. Our Inland Creatives team cleans it up, redraws the lettering in real type and vectorizes the result so it is production-ready.
No usable file at all?
That is fine — we design from scratch, and you approve a free proof before production.
