Laser Engraving vs. UV Printing: Which One Do You Need?
· Inland Engravings
Laser engraving removes or marks the surface of the material itself. UV printing lays down full-color ink and cures it instantly. Neither is "better" — they solve different problems.
Choose laser engraving when
You want permanence, a single-tone premium look, or you are marking stainless steel, anodized aluminum, wood, slate or glass. Engraving cannot fade, peel or wash off.
Choose UV printing when
Your logo has multiple colors or gradients, or the item is acrylic, coated metal or plastic. UV gives you full color and even a raised texture effect.
